I never work with a certain “type” of model, but in this 27th biweekly update it’s very apparent that I like to work with different kinds of people.
I’ve done seven shoots, I had planned a few more but some were cancelled as usual. For me photography is an opportunity to show that everyone is beautiful, especially with the right lighting, styling, makeup and light retouching. These past two weeks I’ve shown that well I think. Representation matters!
15/05/22 – Maple Red
I hadn’t worked with Maple before, but I was so glad that changed! She did an amazing job and she obviously looks amazing. I loved her outfits, and I liked spending 1.5 hours of the first warm day of the year with her. We had a good time, and it was nice to work with such a talented model after a week of not shooting.
16/05/22 – Miss Sophie R
I had a lot of fun working with Miss Sofie, she came all the way from Belgium with her boyfriend for this first shot together. I did her makeup, and I picked out her outfits from the giant collection she’d brought with her. she did a great job posing and we had a lovely afternoon.
19/05/22 – Miss Medea Mortelle
This was my third shoot with Miss Medea Mortelle, and it was the most fun one so far. She did a great job, just like the previous times and because we’ve gotten to know each other better we had a great time talking and eating lunch together. She is a very talented dominatrix, and an amazing model as well!
20/05/22 – Sharon
Sharon is someone I knew a little bit from the gothic scene, and when I reached out to her to see if she was willing to shoot she wholeheartedly agreed. I did her makeup, and came up with this blue butterfly concept. She also brought amazing ideas to the table, and I loved the outfits she’d brought with her.
22/05/22 – Elzewieke
I reached out to Elzewieke on Instagram and I was met with so much enthusiasm, it made me so happy! She brought amazing outfits, some sensual, some kinky, and I went for a goth makeup look on her to match her outfits. We had a nice time talking before and in between the shoot, and we have a lot in common.
26/05/22 – Eefje Dark
I had so much fun during this 3rd shoot with Eefje! We shot at the amazing The ART of YOU Studios, which was such a dream. We did 9(!!!) sets in one afternoon, most of which I can’t show you as we’re going to get them published by magazines. I did her makeup.
27/05/22 – Romy
This was my second shoot with Romy, and I loved her outfits! I did her makeup, she requested a dark smokey eye with a hot pink inner corner. We had a lovely time shooting and talking in between.
