This is the 50th biweekly update! Woop woop! I make these to show you what I’ve done in the past two weeks, and give any updates.
I have quite a big update, and it’s one that many models and performers are going to dislike, but here we go: I’m going to really reduce my TFP shoots. I’ve been doing way too much for free because I love photography and creative collaborations, but from now on I’m going to say no a lot more often. I need to focus my energy and time into the business aspects and paid opportunities. I hope ya’ll will understand!
On a happier note, I have a huge box of Liquid Disco outfits laying around in my studio. LD is a super fun latex brand, and they lent me 10 adorable looks to work with until halfway into May. I’ve already been shooting with it a lot, as you’ll see in this article.
So now go on my dear reader, and consume the content that I have made with love, sweat and tears. Oh, one more thing. One shoot is missing from this blogpost, a really fun collab with designer Stephastique and model Renate Sinne on the 23rd. But we’re sending in most of those 9(!!!) photosets to magazines so they have to remain unpublished for now.
19/04/23 – Maaike
I met Maaike during the “boobshoot”, an activist event where we showed off our boobs in protest against LINDA’s lack of diversity in their “Tits R Us” issue. When she asked if I’d like to do a shoot with her, she mentioned she had an old barn we could shoot in, and I loved the idea! I also styled her for one of the sets, I brought a flower crown I had made the previous weekend.
20/04/23 – Babyxghoulie
This was our third shoot together, and I was delighted to be invited into her beautiful home. I loved her interior styling so much!! We used two looks from Liquid Disco, and they looked perfect on her. We also shot 3 lingerie sets, so yes, we had a very productive afternoon!
22/04/23 – Jasmine S Davids
Jasmine kindly allowed me to do a photoshoot at her gorgeous home, and she has so many beautiful sets to use! Also, isn’t she such a shape-shifter? She can pull off a lot of different looks, and I love her creativity and eye for aesthetics. She made my job very easy ;)
22/04/24 – Nova
I also invited Nova on this day, and we were allowed to use Jasmine’s house for the photoshoot. Nova is such a lovely model, I love her gothic style and she is very sweet and talented!! She poses really well. We went to get burgers at the train station and took the same train half of the way home.
25/04/23 – Mew
If this is not the first time you read one of these biweekly updates, you already know Mew. This is our 15th shoot together!! We also used two looks from Liquid Disco for this shoot, and I love how different she looks in each photoset, due to the hair and style change!
28/04/23 – Nereida Deadlysin
Isn’t this amazing? I was thinking of going to the tulip fields, but then Nereida sent me a message inviting me to go with her! And it was so fun! The yellow look is from Liquid Disco. I’m really happy with how these photos turned out, and I even brought my tripod to take photos from both of us. You can find those on my IG @milkrebelle.noir
28/04/23 – Maatie
A new face, but one that hopefully is going to make many returns here. She’s such a good model and really sweet! We also used some Liquid Disco loveliness, and I feel like these outfits suit her SO well. I’m really happy I worked with her.
