Let’s get one thing straight: posing isn’t about body type. I don’t believe in “flattering for curvy” or “slimming for petite.” Good posing is about light, angles, and attitude. The only real limit? Flexibility. Some poses take a little more bendiness than others!
After years of shooting incredible women and queer folks, I’ve collected over a hundred go-to poses. Here are my five absolute favorites to make you look and feel like a total knockout.
1. The Cozy Vixen
Roll onto your tummy and lift one knee. It’s that lazy, sexy way you lounge in bed, but with a boudoir twist. Arch that back to highlight your booty, tilt your chin up toward the light, and voilà—instant glow-up. Pro tip: This one’s perfect if you’re self-conscious about your midsection.
2. The Upside-Down Smolder
Science says our brains adore upside-down faces (I guess we don’t spot imperfections?). Plus, it flatters the neck and chin. The only challenge? Keeping the boobies in place: sometimes they’re eager to make a break for it!
3. The S-Shape Seduction
Kneel, then twist slightly away from the camera to create that iconic back arch. It’s all about the silhouette! Fair warning: Thigh stamina is key: hover just above your heels to avoid the foot-into-thigh-squish.
4. The Renaissance Goddess
Lie on your side, one leg stretched, the other bent. Add a dramatic arm reach toward your hair, and suddenly you’re a Botticelli painting. Negative space at the waist? Chef’s kiss.
5. The Booty Pop
Knees down, bend forward (doggy-style vibes, but make it art). Go full arch with arms stretched (hello, curves!) or keep it soft on your elbows. Your call.
Remember, these are just starters. Every shoot is a collaboration: I watch how you move, listen to your vibes, and tweak as we go. Because at the end of the day? It’s not about the poses. It’s about you feeling like the star you are.
Now go slay. 💋
