Empowering Kink & Boudoir Photographer

Fetish Fashion: A helping hand so that you are ready to style your kinky shoot

Whether latex or PVC, fetish clothing should enhance your sensuality and give you power during your photo shoot. Care and attention to detail will ensure these pieces remain in pristine condition for your shoot.
You also need to know how to choose the best kink clothing, for which type of photo shoot, and what to take into account.

Let’s start with one of the trickiest materials right away: latex . I’m not going to talk about maintenance and stuff now, because that’s irrelevant now, and you better ask the brand for that information. But there are important things you need to know if you want to shoot in latex.

If it is new, it’s sometimes delivered in talcum powder, this is done so that it does not stick together. But if you want a shiny look, you have to wash it off well with a little washing-up liquid first. Then you can then shine it with silicone lubricant during the shoot. If you do this over the talcum powder, it won’t get nice and shiny.

Also make sure you fit it, this sounds logical, but don’t think “I’ll take a size smaller, then it’s nice and tight”, because most designers already take that into account, and you don’t want it to tear.

If you’re going to put on latex, don’t use body butter or anything similar that day. Normally this is a good idea, because then your skin is nicely hydrated, but there is often oil in such products, and latex cannot stand oil. Because the lube will make you slippery, it’s best to save the latex for your final look if you want to shoot non-latex as well. Otherwise everything will be covered in lube afterwards.

As an alternative to latex, there is PVC, which is easier to put on and take off, is easier to maintain, and is a bit firmer, so it breaks less quickly. The only thing you have to watch out for is that you don’t throw it all together in your suitcase when you travel to me, because it can give off on each other / itself if the coating causes friction. So then your beautiful dark purple dress will rub off on your light blue faux-leather skirt, and this will be very difficult to remove.
My advice: Take your PVC and PU items in zip bags (you know, the ones you use for food in the freezer), just like with latex clothing.

If you wear tight/movement- restricting clothing, keep in mind that you cannot simply do all the poses. Of course, that’s often the whole point, think of straitjackets and neck corsets. If you want to do very exuberant poses with it, you will be disappointed in the possibilities.

Corsets are also a wonderful option for a kinky look, and it also creates a beautiful figure. But not all corsets fit everyone, and quality varies. Steel boned corsets often do more for the silhouette, cheaper plastic boned corsets are usually less effective, and can even make you look straighter.
If the corset has to be very tight at the top and bottom to tighten your waist properly, some skin and fat can sometimes be pushed out, and then you get “rolls”. Don’t worry too much about that, those are things I can edit out afterwards, because it’s caused by your clothing.

If you need help putting on and taking off your kinky outfit, please let me know. I’m happy to help you lace up your corset or zip up your boots.

If you like to wear things with chains on them, keep in mind that metal can oxidize with latex. Then you get stains on the latex clothing that (usually) will not come out.

If you want to wear fishnet and mesh, you can bring nipple stickers or buy them from me. I have multiple skin colors available. Of course, this is not necessary if you like to show your nipples!
